The Burger Guy (“www.theburgerguy.com” or “Our Site”) is owned and operated by M&R Sales, Inc. (dba “The Burger Guy”). This Privacy Policy describes your privacy rights regarding The Burger Guy’s collection, use, storage, sharing, and protection of your personal information. The Burger Guy may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised Privacy Policy will be posted to the website.

We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone. We do share your personal information with our Vendor (“The Kansas City Steak Company®”) to fulfill orders placed on Our Site.

 

If You Are a Coach/Organizer:

When you, as a Coach/Organizer, register on Our Site, we ask for your name, telephone number, email address, and zip code. Your personal information is collected to create a Team Manager account and we store your personal information on servers located in, and process your personal information in, the United States. You will also have to provide us your mailing address to send you a check for the money raised.

As a general rule The Burger Guy uses your information, including personal information, solely to provide the fundraising service. However, during the process of developing, troubleshooting and administering The Burger Guy, it may be necessary to look at pieces of your information to improve the service and user experience, resolve a problem or dispute, investigate potential security issues, or verify your compliance with our terms of use. Also, when you write us to request support, our skilled customer support representatives may look at your information in order to assist you. We may also access and use your information to compare information for accuracy and verify it with third parties or to comply with applicable law or legal process.

Our Site is not intended to be used by children under the age of 13 and we will never knowingly communicate directly with children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a registered user is under the age of 13 we will remove their personally identifiable information from our files. You should not submit information about children under 13 unless you are the parent/guardian of that child or have the permission of the parent/guardian.

If You Are a Parent/Guardian:

During the fundraiser setup process the Coach/Organizer can upload your personal information, limited to your full name, telephone number and email address along with your child’s name (Team Member). You as the Parent/Guardian have the option to accept invitation from Coach/Organizer to join the fundraiser. Those who create a Team Member account under a Team Manager account are given account access to only certain features extended under a Team Manager account.

The Burger Guy allows you to send emails to potential supporters and ask them to support their fundraiser. To our knowledge, these potential supporters are not under the age of 13. We collect potential supporter’s name and email address for the sole purpose of sending this email. Potential supporters can opt out of receiving emails from player/member account by clicking an unsubscribe link contained in each email or by sending an email to support@theburgerguy.com.

If You Are a Supporter:

When you, as a Supporter, place an order on our website, we ask that you provide your name, shipping address, telephone number, email address, and credit card information.

We collect your name, address, email, and telephone number information on our website and store the personal information we collect on servers located in, and process your personal information in, the United States. Unless you choose to support team/organization anonymously, your full name, mailing address, email, and telephone number will be shared with the Team Member you supported and with their Team Organizer and may be used for purposes of further follow-up.

Your name, shipping addressee, telephone number, and email address will be shared with The Kansas City Steak Company® for the purpose of fulfilling your order. The Kansas City Steak Company® will share certain personal address and telephone number information with UPS or FEDEX so that your order(s) ship correctly and in a timely manner. From time to time you may receive correspondence directly from The Kansas City Steak Company® via email or U.S. Mail. If you prefer to not receive correspondence from The Kansas City Steak Company® please email Customer Service at customerservice@kansascitysteaks.com or contact them directly at the address below.

Refund

We make an unconditional promise: Our merchandise is guaranteed. If any product purchased from us ever disappoints you, for any reason, you may ask for a replacement or refund.

  • Quality Related Concerns

    If for any reason you are unsatisfied with the items you've received please contact Customer Service at The Kansas City Steak Company directly within 45 days at 1-800-524-1844 or by email at customerservice@kansascitysteaks.com for a replacement or refund of the full purchase price. If only a portion of the product was unsatisfactory, a partial refund or replacement may be issued. Refunds will be credited back to the original order payment method.

Security

Your credit card information is handled by highly-secure third party. The Burger Guy does not store your credit card details in its databases nor does anyone at our company have access to your credit card information. Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read of the internet.

The best time to post on Facebook is 1–4 p.m. late into the week and on weekends.

Saturday and Sunday at 12–1 p.m.
Thursday and Friday at 1–4 p.m.
Wednesday at 3 p.m.

The optimal times to tweet are 12–3 p.m., with a peak best time at 5 p.m. During the workweek is the best, though some niches might have more active audiences on the weekend.

Wednesday at noon and 5–6 p.m.
Monday–Friday at 12–3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
